Just think for a moment why these are the kinds of questions that often get asked. The media, through ignorance, have portrayed hypnosis woefully inaccurately.
Stage Hypnosis gives the impression that a Hypnotist 'takes control' over the participants. This is not the case. Out of an audience of 300 people at least 30 of them will be hypnotically 'talented'. In other words they will go into trance very, very easily and will accept suggestions that are given to them. They have paid money to see the show, they have volunteered themselves, they want to have some fun. Sometimes even the most introvert character can relish the chance to let his or her hair down and have some fun for a change in a hypnosis show.
One of the fundamental functions of the mind and brain is to protect us, and this function works day and night. It simply would not allow you to do anything that would be potentially damaging or dangerous to you.

Mel M. USA It really does work!Wow, this is amazing. I stumbled across your site by accident and although I was sceptical, I bought the CD to get rid of my severe stage fright. Out of curiosity I used the turbo practicing track because I am ridiculously lazy. Half an hour later I was practicing my viola (which is a rarity) and I was practicing with so much patience and precision that within an hour I could play things that usually I would pass off as impossible and just fumble my way through. Hopefully the confidence track will have an equally successful result, but I'll find out in a couple of weeks.
